Article Of The Month

I recently decided I wanted an even better start to my day. It takes me a little time to get going from feeling dull and grey (I'm not a morning person!) to feeling enthusiastic about the day ahead.

I've got my to do list ready from the day before. So I should be ready to go racing from the starting blocks. But it never quite happens that way. It takes me a while to ‘shake off' that fogginess. How do I turn my energy around?

Sejual's Corner

I had great fun in visiting Devon a couple of weeks ago for some holiday time. Our favourite place to visit was The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Heligan was a disused and wildly overgrown Victorian estate. A team, including the Tim Smit of The Eden Project fame, started restoration in the 1990s. The end result is an enchanting wonderland that held so many surprises. There was a luscious luxurious vegetable garden that had me drooling at the mouth. I was amazed to see that old Victorian greenhouses had been restored to grow pineapples whilst kept warm with manure! The best bit was stumbling upon what is possibly the largest Californian Redwood in Europe.

Join Green England's online petition to ask the government to introduce a 10p tax on plastic carriers to encourage people to reduce their consumption. It is suggested that the money raised should be spent on environmental projects.
