Craving understanding – why oh why?

When I work with my clients the ‘why’ question comes up often.

-  Why did my father neglect me when I was an innocent babe? What wrong had I done him?

-  Why did my boss overlook me for promotion? Can't she see the ways I’ve delivered time and again?

-  Why do I forget my past achievements so easily? I doubt myself regularly and then feel like I've got imposter syndrome.

And so it goes on . . .

All these individuals are desperately searching for meaning that will make sense of their suffering.

Some may turn to AI with their Why questions. The funny thing is that these resources are only number-probability machines using powerful maths. They lack any sense of consciousness to give human understanding to these soul-searching questions. They borrow - usually with no attribution - from prior human expressions of understanding. From this they create their own paint-by-numbers attempt to make sense of your pain. This video short demonstrates this beautifully.

Some individuals come to tapping with these questions too. Now beware – there's an approach that's likely to lead to disempowerment. And, another that will provide helpful insight.

If you turn to a tapping script or You Tube video you may get some homespun truths that seem to explain away what the person who harmed you was doing. But how deeply has that insight landed in relation to your specific situation? If you’re still carrying significant pain about your experience then all the answers in the world won’t resolve the distress. They'll at best coat the outer surface like a veneer leaving out the deep and lasting release you seek.

Instead I have a simple and impactful approach to empower you.

Tap in a focused and structured way to get your SUDs to 2 or less. Only then reach for an answer about ‘why’. Once you have reduced the emotional ‘noise’ coming from your pain your own consciousness will offer profoundly helpful answers. These will land well and integrate to create a more whole human being.

A good practitioner will keep you on track with structure and focus to make sure you get the depth of understanding you seek from your own outlook and values. They’ll ensure the work stays safe, and gentle.

Really good ones will also be time efficient. I’ve had more than 1 client say the cost of 1 session with me was the equivalent of 10 with a run of the mill practitioner.

In summary, with tapping the why gets answered once you've significantly cleared the emotional noise. This approach is truly helpful for fostering lasting peace.
