Sejual's Corner - March 2007

I had a whale of a time in the States!  From feeling limited by the slow pace of my growth (I’ve always had an impatient streak in me), I went on to enjoy many many beautiful experiences.

I’m delighted to say I gave my first international talk on Emotional Freedom Techniques to a lovely group of people who were amazed at how they could help themselves with this tool.  I also got the opportunity to work with several individuals on a one on one basis with great results.  Wow, within a month I’ve achieved part of my goal for 2007.

I encountered some curious coincidences whilst travelling.  The funniest was finding myself sat quite by chance at a conference in Atlanta next to a blonde American who is learning Gujarati (my mother tongue), is due to visit friends in a couple of weeks who live 60 miles away from me in England, is taking Gujarati language lessons from a person in India sharing my first name, and has the same surname as my partner!

Here’s a picture from a hike I took around a couple of the vortices in Sedona, Arizona.  You can see our tour guide, Benny, expressing his joy at the wonder of nature.

I meditated there and found a new source of spiritual energy to help me on with my projects.  The tree sits at the top of the Airport Mesa vortex.  The energy there was beautifully grounding.

And that was a constant theme of my trip – bringing in and grounding more inspiration into my work.  From meeting an artist called Dalya who works with metal to recreate images of plant roots, to forging new professional ties for my business’ growth in the States, I found ways to strengthen the foundations of work.

And growing roots is the inspiration for this month’s 5 minute meditation.  I hope you’ll enjoy the audio format.  It’s taken me a month longer to get together and so unfortunately I had to miss doing a newsletter in February.  But I hope you’ll find the new product worth the wait.  Drop me a line and let me know what you think.
