Sejual's Corner - Jan 2008

I hope you had time to catch your breath over the holiday period and enjoy the company of friends and family.  The tail end of last year was filled with lots of activity for me.

I gave a talk on Achieving greater abundance and joy in North London at a Healing and Meditation group run by my Reiki sisters, Linda Lipinski and Jackie Mirav.  They meet at least once a month with a different speaker to provide inspiration and suggestions to help empower everyone to more self growth.  I talked about various ways in which we can manifest the yearnings we have in our hearts, and how this can be in keeping with our spiritual growth.

In early December I attained my Level 3 EFT qualification having spent 3 separate days over 2007 in covering different modules.  You may be wondering what there is learn about tapping that would take it to an advanced level.  Isn’t it simple enough to know where to tap and to repeat some phrases? Now that is where we all start off.  But what happens when the issue you're working on doesn’t improve?  Or the results take a painfully long time to achieve?

Level 3 is about starting to master the art of delivering EFT, so that results can be achieved more quickly whilst ensuring the therapy work stays gentle.  Topics I covered were providing EFT to businesses, improving self esteem and eating disorders, and treating chronic health problems.

I learnt some wonderful advanced techniques, and in the process resolved the constant leg pain I’ve had since having major surgery on my bones as a child.  Just over 4 weeks on since resolving it, I’m delighted to say the pain has not returned one bit.  I want to thank EFT Trainer Suzanne Zacharias and fellow student Jo for helping me achieve this.

Looking ahead to 2008, one of my projects is to form a network of professionals who provide meaningful support to people in the area suffering from eating disorders. At present I'm teamed up with a nutritionist and massage therapist, and with several more fields to be covered. Together we'd like to work on all aspects that lead to disorders like anorexia, bulimia and obesity to help achieve a lasting sense of peace and resolution for individuals and their families. One of our aims is provide informative talks that suggest ways in which to move out of the vicious cycle of distress that such health problems can arise from and lead to. I have a few more projects on the drawing board at the moment - more information on these as they take shape.

Whatever your goals for this year are, I wish you a peaceful and joy filled 2008.
