Sejual's Corner - August 2007

I value this time of the year for the chance to rest my mind and take things easy.  If we don’t pause to relax then we can easily get disoriented from our goals by constantly doing.  Whether it’s lolling around in a shady spot in the garden, or playing with the cat, I’m glad for the chance to take time out.

In my ‘rest phase’ I've been visiting family and enjoyed time with friends I haven't seen in a while. I gobbled up the last of the Harry Potter novels in 24 hours and have discovered the fun healing art of Katsugen.

I’m delighted to confirm I’ve received funding to run more stress resolution workshops for the Watford Women’s Centre.  The overwhelming positive feedback I got from participants of the first one I ran and the high numbers who attended the workshop were persuasive enough for the trustees to agree to schedule some more.

I hope you enjoyed taking part in the Fire the Grid meditation I mentioned last month.  I set a simple intention to send healing to our environment and the people living in it.  I entered such a deep state of meditation that I lost track of where I was and entered a blissful state of calm.  It's not often I experience this. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to join my thoughts of peace and healing with so many others.

I’m now heading back to the garden . . .
