I visited Sejual Shah to find out more about EFT generally and also as a means of dealing with my anxiety regarding public speaking. Looking back it is always something I have struggled with but it has got progressively worse as I have got older and as I now have my own business as a Nutritional Therapist it is important for me to promote myself at networking meetings in order to gain new clients.
I therefore attended a one day level 1 course. Sejual talked through the process and theory behind EFT and showed us the technique of 'tapping' on ourselves which began the process of alleviating some of the fears which we were all individually experiencing. We then had time to practice between ourselves so by the end of the course I was confident that I could use the technique to start to overcome my own fears.
I enjoyed working with Sejual as she explained things in a calm manner and always made sure we understood a topic before moving onto the next. She has a very caring approach which meant that we could talk openly about our issues and express ourselves without feeling at all embarrassed, which I believe is a crucial factor in being able to get the best out of the session.
At a networking meeting a couple of weeks later I had prepared myself by 'tapping' daily before-hand so by the time the meeting came I was more relaxed and able to promote myself more effectively, which was a good result for me. I would therefore recommend this approach for anyone with 'fears or anxieties' which are really affecting their ability to lead a normal life.
