EFT for giving yourself more support

This month's article suggests ways to better support yourself.  If you know how to do EFT at a simple level or more try the following setups to help you provide a better foundation for your work.

While tapping the karate chop spot on either hand, repeat these phrases out loud, or change the words to fit your exact situation. If you need a reminder of the EFT tapping points please download this pdf file. It also provides a reminder of how to do EFT.

"Even though I feel completely unsupported in my goal, I draw on pink healing light from above [change the colour to suit your needs]"

"Even though I just don’t have their support, I wrap myself up in this pink healing light"

"Even though I don’t feel backed up in making my decisions, I allow this pink healing colour to bless me with rays of joy"

I have indicated where to tap while saying each of the phrases below. You may repeat this round more than once if you wish.  

***These phrases focus on tapping out the problem***

1st Round

Head: "I don’t feel comfortable in supporting myself"

Eyebrow: "I’m not used to doing that"

Side of Eye: "I just don’t feel good enough"

Under Eye: "They told me I wasn’t good enough"

Nose: "I ended up proving them right "

Chin: "And so hurting myself"

Collarbone: "Last time I tried to reach for my goal"

Under Arm: "I doubted myself so much"

Rib: "I don’t want to feel like this anymore"

2nd Round

Head: "I want to find some way to gain strength"

Eyebrow: "I want to draw support from a safe part of my life"

Side of Eye: "That fills me with gentle healing warmth"

Under Eye: "So that I can feel okay within myself"

Nose: "Something that I know I can do"

Chin: " A place of warmth which fills me with pink healing light"

Collarbone: "Knowing it's okay to be me"

Under Arm: "It nurtures me to grow towards my goal"

Rib: "I want to draw on this pink healing energy"

 

If any negative thoughts or feelings remain about giving yourself the support you seek use your own words to neutralise them until they are gone. Then move on to the positive.

Head: "I love this feeling of gentle warmth coming into me"

Eyebrow: "I feel alright when I allow this pink healing light to fall on me"

Side of Eye: "It creates a space where I can breathe easily"

Under Eye: "This gentle pink energy brings calm into my life"

Nose: "This gentle pink light sends healing through my being"

Chin: "In to the roots of my being"

Collarbone: "Where I’ve been looking for support"

Under Arm: "It shines light into all layers of my being"

Rib: "Embraced by this pink healing light, I feel able to move forward"

Head: "And I carry this pink healing light with me as I go"
