This month's article is about how tapping in different locations can help us clear unseen issues. We can sometimes feel self conscious about tapping, so the script below is to help you play with imagining tapping on the points. Your nervous system is still being activated if you don't tap physically on the points. In my experience most people still get siginficant benefit by doing this.

While tapping the karate chop spot on either hand, repeat these phrases out loud, or change the words to fit your exact situation.
"Even though I feel silly tapping in public, maybe I can find another way "
"Even though I don't always feel comfortable imagining as I'm not sure I can visualise easily, what if I could feel or hear the connection? "
"Even though I don't know if this is going to work, and maybe there are some doubts inside, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try? "
I have indicated where to tap while saying each of the phrases below. You may repeat this round more than once if you wish.

Head: "All this silly feeling about tapping "
Eyebrow: "I feel so silly tapping in public "
Side of Eye: "I don't want people to think I'm an idiot "
Under Eye: "I don't like it when people stare "
Nose: "Yet they say that I can imagine tapping on the points and it will work "
Chin: "Not sure if that will work for me "
Collarbone: "I have these doubts about it "
Under Arm: "What if I'm not doing it right? "
Ribs: "What if I can't make it work? "
Head: "I've not been that good at visualising "
Eyebrow: "And so how can I do this? "
Side of Eye: "But she says that I can feel the skin being touched "
Under Eye: "Or I can imagine hearing the tapping sound as I think of each point "
Nose: "What if I could give it a go? "
Chin: "I could make it my little experiment "
Collarbone: "And the beauty of it is nobody need know I'm doing it "
Under Arm: "In fact what if there are other people on the street "
Ribs: "Who are doing this imagining tapping stuff, but I just don't know it! "
Keep tapping on specific bits of fear you connect with imagining tapping on the points until they are virtually gone. Then tap on the positive phrases below.

Head: "I want to let go of this doubt about imagaining "
Eyebrow: "I want to be able to tap when I'm out and about "
Side of Eye: "I know how good it feels to have this tool "
Under Eye: "Just knowing it's there is like a first aid kit "
Nose: "That means I can be anywhere and still tap "
Chin: "I can get continued relief "
Collarbone: "As I go about my day "
Under Arm: "And nobody need know what I'm up to! "
Ribs: "I can just focus on bringing relief "
