Reiki Share, Harpenden
Wed 21 July 2010, 7.30pm, £5

The share is open to those already attuned to all types of Reiki and all lineages. We'll chat about a topic concerning Reiki, enjoy a meditation, and receive and give Reiki treatments in small groups. There'll be an opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts and develop our Reiki knowledge. We meet as a group to continue our learning about Reiki, healing and spiritual growth no matter what level of Reiki we have trained to. If the share is fully booked for this month or you can't make this one, please note in your diary the next one will be on Wednesday 18 August 2010 at 7.30 pm.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a therapy that gently relieves physical pain and emotional distress and usually with lasting results. It’s a bit like acupuncture, but without the needles. Perhaps you have seen tapping used on TV by Paul MacKenna? Well we tap on acupressure points on our head and body whilst using creative wordplay to release anxiety, fears, sadness, anger and worry. Results can be surprisingly fast.

This workshop is suited to complete beginners and those already familiar with EFT. After an introduction to how it is done, we get straight into applying EFT. Each individual brings along to the workshop a physical problem, memory or event to work on. The group copies me as I tap with my fingers on points on my face and body. We also say phrases I devise which are related to different elements of each problem. We will tap together on these issues so that everyone can gain benefit on their own problem area. You can reveal as much or as little about your problem as you wish in the group.

We will be comfortably sat in chairs in a group. Please register for the course at the reception desk at the Watford Women's Centre (01923 816229).

Reiki Level 1 Training
Sat 18 and Sun 19 September 2010, 10am to 5pm, £150

Join me to start your Usui Reiki journey into healing and greater self development. This two day course will cover key areas of knowledge to empower you into working with Reiki to benefit your health and well-being. You will receive clear practical guidance on how to work with this beautiful healing system and how it can further your spiritual growth. You will receive 4 attunements connecting you with Reiki energy, a manual with comprehensive notes for this level and a certificate of attendance.

I teach Reiki in a small friendly group of a maximum of 4 people to ensure that there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions that are important to you whilst at the same time allowing for thought provoking discussion. There will be a break for lunch during each day. You can find more information on the course contents on the Reiki training page.

Reiki Level 2 Training
25 and 26 September 2010, 10am to 5pm, £175

Deepen your knowledge and experience of Reiki with this two day course to the intermediate level. You will receive 2 further attunements which will enable you to work with a greater strength of Reiki energy, a manual with comprehensive notes for this level and a certificate of attendance. You will also be instructed in working with sacred symbols to help you provide healing energy more effectively and distantly.

I teach Reiki in a small friendly group of a maximum of 4 people to ensure that there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and also receive plenty of guidance. There will be a break for lunch during each day. You can find more information on the course contents on the Reiki training page.

EFT Shares

For more than 3 years I held a regular EFT Group share to provide low cost help to people and help them gain confidence in EFT. I am no longer able to do this as the work in my practice has grown. However, I am happy to offer bespoke EFT Shares for a group of friends to join in together. To set one up please get together 5 or more friends who'd like to try EFT. The cost will be £10 per person and the Share will last for 90 minutes. It can take place either at my therapy practice, where I have ample space, or at your home. Please contact me to explore how this would work.
